Starfighter Assault

This is a retro shooter game.  The goal is to fight through all waves (12) and defeat the main boss at the end.

The ultimate goal is to maximize your score at the end by picking up as many scoring coins as possible during the game.  Each vanquished enemy will drop a coin.  Pick them all up for points.

Movement:  ADSW

Fire: Spacebar (can be held down).

BACKSPACE will return you to the main menu.

The quit button will not work in the browser it is only for use in the Windows Stand Alone version.

Pickups:

The pickups are: Weapon upgrade from 1 to 3 to 5 shots, machine gun, shield, swivel beam, lasers.  The screen will flash green when an upgrade is picked up and flash red when you are hit by an enemy.

Power:

Your power can go as high as 2.  If it goes below 0 you will explode.  Getting hit by the enemy will downgrade you by one each time.

CHEATS:

press n for no death.  press p to skip to the next wave.  Cheats may have unintended consequences and could ruin your game but have fun with them anyway.
